The doors of St. Josaphat Catholic School in Toronto near Lakeshore and Brown's Line were locked Thursday afternoon after a threat of a person with a gun possibly showing up.

After investigating, police say the school and the immediate area is safe and one person is in custody.

Toronto police say there was never a risk to public safety.
