Unions to Hold Protest at Pntario Liberal Leadership Convention

Posted By: David Woodard · 1/17/2013 10:17:00 PM

It won't be just Liberal backers at old Maple Leaf Gardens two weekends from now.

CUPE Ontario will be holding a march and protest January 26th at the site of the Ontario Liberal Leadership Convention.

The union says they have over a dozen buses from 30 different communities set to bring members in for the protest.

The rally poster says the group will be protesting the convention to "demand a government that respects workers' democratic rights to free collective bargaining and impartial contract arbitration."

Elementary Teachers Federation President Sam Hammond has also tweeted that we can expect some of his members as well as Secondary School teachers to protest with CUPE.

    I don't know who has the final say in what gets posted to this website and what doesn't, but who ever is in charge needs a serious and I mean SERIOUS refresher course in spelling, grammar, and punctuation.

      @Anonymous Yes, you must find it all so very offensive.

      @Anonymous I agree with you.
      The result of your suggestion would be"whoever" not "who ever".

    Perfect. We will have all the overpaid, underqualified, underworked union parasites in the same location as the overpaid, underqualified, underworked Liberal politicians and wanna-be-politician-parasites. Hitler would be proud. Socialism! Communism!
    All those people in one place and not a single person truly worried about the regular working, tax-paying citizens. It's all about me! me! me!

    I hope they all catch the flu from standing out in the cold.

    The sooner we get all union scum out of our lives, the better. Right-to-work, a strong Conservative majority government in this province, and the ratification of Bill C-377 into law can't possibly come fast enough. Unions are nothing but criminals, and we need them gone.
