NHL is back today.

A shortened season starts today with 13 games. Five Canadian teams will be on the ice - Toronto, Montreal, Ottawa, Vancouver and Winnipeg.

The Leafs will take on the Canadiens tonight at 7 p.m. in Montreal.

A Harris-Decima poll for the Canadian Press shows that hockey fans are in a forgiving mood.

Two-thirds of those asked said they'd watch about the same amount of hockey this season as they did before the lockout, while just under a-quarter said they'd watch less.
