Man charged in Etobicoke murder
Police have laid a charge of 1st degree murder in the death of a woman in Etobicoke.
The 27-year-old who neighbours have identified as "Bridget" was found dead, lying on the side of the road on Richgrove Dr, near Martin Grove & Eglinton Ave W at 7:30am Saturday.
Toronto Police wound up on Richgrove Dr after they were initially called to a spot near Weston Rd & Eglinton Ave W at 7am for some kind of trouble.
With the help of Peel Police, Toronto cops arrested a man at a Mississauga gas station Saturday morning.
30-year-old Emmanuel Owusu-Ansah is charged with 1st degree murder. It isn't clear what ties he may have had to the victim. On Saturday, police wouldn't confirm reports the victim's boyfriend was involved in her death.
The victim's body is going through a post mortem exam to determine how she died. We do know there were obvious signs of trauma to her body & signs of a struggle where her body was found.
