Rob Ford: ''What will be, will be''
What will be, will be.
That's where Rob Ford's head was at just hours from learning if he'll get to keep his job at mayor of Toronto.
Friday at 9:30am, Ford's legal team will get the decision of a 3-judge panel considering his conflict of interest appeal. An hour later, their ruling will be made public.
Speaking with reporters outside his office Thursday afternoon, Ford said he's looking forward to getting that decision, he believes in the judicial system & is hoping for the best.
Ford said he "couldn't comment" on what would happen if the appeal doesn't go his way.
He has publicly said he'd like to be re-appointed, but it looks like that focus has changed.
Speaking with Newstalk 1010's John Tory on the Live Drive Thursday, Doug Ford says the Ford camp doesn't believe they have the votes they need to have Rob re-appointed mayor. Doug Ford believes that in a democracy, the people should decide who their mayor is going to be moving forward.
