Peel police are investigating a shooting this morning in Mississauga.

Officers were called when shots were fired at a banquet hall near Derry and Tomken Rds overnight.

Const George Tudos says two young women were shot. Their injuries not life threatening.

"Our investigators are processing the scene and are in the midst of speaking to witnesses from this function in order to get some suspect information," Const Tudos says.

No arrests have yet been made.
