Toronto Police have identified a man that was found freezing in the east end.

The man was found lying on the ground in "obvious distress", not dressed for the weather on Saturday near Queen St E & Logan Ave.

Police issued a release early Monday, thanking the media and the public for assisting them in identifying the man.

Police won't say who he is or what led him to where he was found.
