A retired Toronto teacher has been charged, accused of sexually assaulting a former student.

A man approached Toronto Police in December, claiming to have been been victimized between 1982 & 1983 at Dr Norman Bethune Collegiate where he was student.  He was 15 at the time & the alleged sex assault is alleged to have happened at the Scarborough school.

Daniel Campbell of Burlington is charged with 2 counts of sexual assault.

Police think there could be more victims.  They're urging one who may have been victimized by Campbell to call them at 416-808-4205.

Wow, I was there at the school at that time and around the same age as the alleged victim. He was a math teacher and I was in one of his classes one year. Very shocking to hear of this.
