Police say a woman who died in hospital after being found by officers called to a north Toronto home on the weekend was
strangled.

Police said Monday that a post-mortem examination determined the cause of death to be manual strangulation.

The name of the victim is not being released pending notification of next-of-kin.

18 year old Mohamed Adam Bharwani, of Toronto, is charged with first-degree murder.
