It appears a $1 Billion Woodbine project slated for Rexdale is dead even before it started.

A source with Woodbine Entertainment says there was a difference of opinion between themselves and The Cordish Companies and because of that the two sides parted ways.

It leaves Woodbine without a construction company to build the entertainment complex.

A spokesperson for Woodbine Entertainment says they have parted ways, but they're committed to the property and the company is looking for a new partner.
