Whitby police are investigating a fatal pedestrian incident that happened Thursday night.

The call came in at 10:45 p.m when two younger men were struck on Dundas Street East near Garden Street.

Both of them were rushed to hospital in critical condition, but one of the men has since died of his injuries.

Police say they were not using a desginated crosswalk at the time and they don't anticipate any charges being laid.
