The City of Vaughan has apologized after an inappropriate tweet came from their corporate Twitter account Friday morning.

The posted tweet said "Everyone on my street has double gararges (sic) ... who are these f*@#nuts who don't put their car in the garage when we get two feet of snow #dumb."
 
The city has temporarily suspended the account and is investigating the cause of the tweet.

The city is looking into the possibility that the account may have been hacked by an unauthorized user.

They plan to release more information once it becomes available.
