It was snow a couple of days ago, now Environment Canada is warning of the potential for freezing rain tonight.

The agency has put out a special weather statement for southern Ontario. It says a warm front will bring a a mix of precipitation tonight.

Rain will start in the Windsor area early this evening, then spread across the rest of southwestern Ontario. The GTA could get freezing rain as the temperature hovers around zero degrees.

Further north and east, there will be some more snow tonight with 5 to 10 cm possible into the morning.
