In Quebec, a 9-year-old boy has been killed in what looks to be a freak hockey accident.

The boy was playing alone on an outdoor rink in Saint Severin Saturday morning when a hockey net fell on top of him.

2 municipal workers found him underneath the net.  The boy was pronounced dead in hospital.
