A 15 year old boy has died after being shot Monday night, Toronto police confirm.

The call for help came in around 10:30pm Monday night, after shots rang out at an address on Turf Grassway, off Jane Street, just south of Finch.

EMS says the teen was shot in the stomach and did not have any vital signs while being transfered to hospital.

Three people were taken in for questioning, but no word on any charges being laid.

Reports from the scene suggest that police are looking at the possibility that the shooting could be accidental.

This is the third shooting incident within the past month that has left a young person dead in the GTA.

On Jan. 18, 15 year old Tyson Bailey was shot dead at an apartment building near Dundas and River streets. No one has been arrested in connection to that shooting.

9 year old Kesean Williams was killed when he was struck by a bullet fired through his living room window in Brampton on Jan. 23. No charges have been laid in that murder.
