A cyclist had her leg pinned by a car, after a police chase came to an end on Queen West Wednesday afternoon.

Witnesses say two cars mounted each side of the road near Augusta Avenue and Queen St. around 4:30 p.m.
One of those cars was being pursued by police.

The female cyclist's leg became pinned between the car and a newspaper box. She suffered serious but non life-threatening injuries.

The SIU is now investigating.
