Peel Police locked down Central Peel Secondary School in Brampton on Thursday after a robbery happened just off of school property.
The lockdown went into effect around 12:30, and police say three people were arrested inside the school a short time later.
Constable Thomas Ruttan with Peel Police says the robbery was a 'street level' robbery and did not happen on school property.
It's not yet known if the suspects arrested were students at the school.
Ruttan also couldn't say whether or not there was a gun found.
No word on how long the lockdown will last.
