In Quebec, 2 boys have been arrested for the gunpoint kidnapping of 2 seniors.

A 70-year-old woman & 65-year-old man were taken Friday from their home near
Maniwaki & driven to a barn about 150 km away.

Eventually the kidnappers took off.

The victims escaped Saturday morning & flagged down a passing car.

A 16-year-old Ottawa boy was arrested in nearby Pembroke while a 17-year-old boy turned himself in to Quebec police.

Investigators are trying to figure out if a 3rd person was involved & whether the gun used was real or fake.

The motive for the kidnapping isn't clear.
