In a press conference, we learned that 36 year old Nicola 'Nick' Nero, is now facing first degree murder charges in the death of Johnny Raposo.
Police also arrested 39 year old Martino Caputo in Germany, on the weekend. He's now waiting to be sent back to Canada. He's been held on a warrant on drug-related charges by Niagara Regional Police.
Toronto Police say they are still hunting for 25 year old Rabih Alkhalil who they say is wanted for drug-related offences by both Niagara Regional Police and the Surite Du Quebec.
Nero is already in jail, in connection with that massive drug operation that was busted up in Niagara region.
He was already in custody in May, and later found to be the alleged ringleader of a massive organized crime network that was allegedly worth hundreds of millions of dollars.
26 year old Dean Wiwchar from B.C. was already arrested in connection with the Raposo case, and was charged with first degree murder.
Toronto Police now indicate that he was a hired shooter and wasn't connected with the organized crime aspect.
