VIDEO: New Session Sparks Case of Deja Vu

Posted By: Katie Franzios · 2/20/2013 1:14:00 PM

The new session at Queen's Park is off and running and is much of the same thing that we saw in the fall.

Debate on the gas plant cancellations started the morning off, with Kathleen Wynne seeing a heated Question Period - her first as premier.

It kicked off with Wynne receiving well wishes from Tory leader Tim Hudak and the NDP leader Andrea Horwath. But the hug in didn't last long with questions on job creation and closing corporate tax loopholes.

Wynne says public budget consultations start now.

While fending off opposition criticism Wynne remarked she continues to hold out hope she can work with both opposition parties. This comes despite the Tories revealing they will not support the throne speech.
