Toronto Police is asking for the public's help in identifying two men wanted in a violent armed robbery last fall.

Police say on October 8th, at approximately 6:50 p.m., two men, wearing sunglasses and a mask or bandana, entered Snowy Convenience located at 314 Painted Post Drive in the Markham Rd and Brimorton Dr area.

Police say one of the men who was armed with what appeared to be a drywall hammer, threw gasoline in the store attendant's face and demanded cash.

The second man, who was armed with a knife, walked behind the counter and removed a quantity of cigarettes and put them into a duffel bag.

The men are described as:

1. white, 6' to 6'3", with a stocky build and dark brown hair. He was seen wearing a black ski mask, dark sunglasses, black hooded sweater with a grey shirt underneath, dark pants and black gloves.

2. white, 5'7" to 5'8", wearing a black toque, dark sunglasses, black jacket, denim pants and black gloves. He was carrying a black gym bag.

Security video of the two men has been released.

Police are asking anyone with information to contact them.
