Councilor Doug Ford is demanding the City's Integrity Commissioner step down.

Ford made the demand after Deputy Mayor Doug Holyday first asked Janet Leiper to apologize for putting the Fords and the city through the whole conflict of interest debacle.

It was proven in court that Leiper gave council erroneous information, demanding that Ford pay back the money he raised for his football foundation.

Ford was first found in conflict of interest, but later won the case on an appeal.

Doug Ford says her ruling essentially dragged his brother's name through the mud, but it also hurt the city with months of uncertainty and instability because of what he called 'her lack of due diligence'.
