High school teachers union prez to discuss extra-curriculars

Ontario Secondary School Teachers Federation President Ken Coran will comment on the decision by local leaders to suspend political action regarding voluntary activities.
Coran will speak to reporters at 9:30am at the Sheraton Centre on Queen Street West.
Last week's move paved the way for Ontario's public high school teachers appear to resume extracurricular activities.
The union issued a release saying members are encouraged to consider resuming clubs and sports teams.
Teachers across the province have been protesting the Liberal government's decision to impose two-year contracts on them and
forcibly end months of bitter labour negotiations.
