Snowmobiler Killed on Holland River
Police say they're investigating a fatal snowmobile collision on the Holland River in Bradford, about 80 kilometres north of Toronto.
South Simcoe police say they were called Monday afternoon by a passerby who discovered the body of a snowmobiler on the river.
Investigators say it appears the snowmobile was southbound on the Holland River and struck a pressure crack in the ice.
Police say the driver was thrown a short distance and was killed.
Constable Carl Jarvis says the victim's identity is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
