Toronto Traffic Services are on scene of a collision involving and SUV and a pedestrian.

A woman was struck and pinned by the vehicle near Midland and Eglinton.

Paramedics said the woman had to be extricated from under the vehicle, and was rushed to hospital with what are being described as serious, but non-life threatening injuries.

No word on what caused the incident, or whether charges will be laid.
