Man stabbed on subway train in unprovoked attack

A man in his 30's was rushed to hospital last night after being stabbed on board a subway train.

Police say he was stabbed in the neck in an unprovoked attack by another man, just before 10:30.

The train came to a stop at the Davisville station after the passenger assistance alarm was activated.

Police say the suspect was going from passenger to passenger and yelling in their faces. The victim was slashed in the neck when he stood up after being approached by the suspect.

Police are searching for a black man, 30 -32 years of age  6'0 to 6'2, with a thin build. He was wearing a black toque, black pants, black jacket with a hoodie, and carrying a white plastic bag. Police consider the suspect to be armed and dangerous.
