Poll Suggests Wynne Would Win Another Minority Government
PC leader Tim Hudak and NDP leader Andrea Horwath may have to pull-in their horns a bit.
Forum Research is out with a new robo-call poll showing that after just three weeks on the job, Premier Kathleen Wynne's Liberals have moved into a statistical dead heat with the PC's and New Democrats.
When McGuinty was in charge the Liberals were running third for the past year.
Lorne Bozinoff, president of Forum Research says they way the polling numbers are concentrated, the likely outcome would be another Liberal minority government with about the same number of seats for each party as the 2011 elections.
What Forum doesn't measure is how tentative the Wynne wave is. With the economy slowing, jobs disappearing, scandals such as the cancellation of the Oakville and Mississauga gas plants looming, the support for the Liberals could evaporate in an instant.
