A woman was sexually assaulted near Cabbagetown yesterday afternoon, and police are searching for her suspected attacker.

The 33 year old woman was walking on Wellesley Street East approaching Homewood Avenue when a man approached her from behind. This was around 3 o'clock in the afternoon.

Other people witnessed the incident, before the suspect took off.

He's described as being a white man with a dark complexion, or possibly brown with a light complexion.
He's between the ages of 20 and 40 with a thin build and a very slight moustache. He wore a ¾ length dark green, bulky, nylon winter jacket with a hood and light grey pants.The hood of the jacket may have had fur around the trim.
