Some new developments in the school robbery at Thistletown Collegiate on Thursday.  

Toronto police confirm that arrests were made that evening in regards to not only this incident, but also into a series of robberies spanning back to January. Police are continuing that investigation.

A car was seized Friday evening, but police can't say whether it is connected to Thursday's robbery in particular.

It was around the noon-hour on Thursday that 4 men walked into the high school and robbed two girls of their cellphones, at gunpoint.

Another boy ran from them when he was approached and one of the suspects fired a gunshot, but no one was hurt.
