Clocks spring forward for Daylight Saving Time
You will be losing one hour of sleep this weekend.
Canadians will move their clocks ahead one hour on Sunday, March 10 to make the switch to Daylight Saving Time, at 2 a.m.
This time shift is also happening in other parts of North America as well, including Mexico and most of Canada. The European Union and other parts of the world will not move their clocks until later this month, if at all.
Experts have some tips to help you ease the pain of "springing forward" such as,
- Waking up 30 minutes earlier on both Saturday and Sunday
- Eat a good breakfast
- Consider setting your clock ahead on Friday night to give yourself extra time to adjust to the clock change.
