Man Arrested in TTC Sex Assaults
Toronto Police have arrested a man wanted in connection to several sex assault incidents on the TTC.
On Wednesday, police say an 18-year-old woman was walking down the stairs to the westbound platform, at the Yonge and Bloor subway Station, when a man grabbed her from behind and sexually assaulted her.
Police say the man then followed her on the train to Bathurst Station and exposed himself to her.
The investigation has now lead police to believe that the same man has been behind similar offenses on the Bloor-Danforth line between the Yonge/Bloor and Kipling stations since January.
32-year-old Diego Anesetti has been arrested and faces one count of sexual assault, criminal harassment and mischief. He is also facing 4 counts of commiting an indecent act and 6 counts of exposing himself to people under the age of 16.
Police say they have received reports about incidents that have taken place in the College Park underground shopping area located at College Street and Yonge Street.
