Police say a young woman is facing impaired driving charges after the car she was driving crashed into a house in Etobicoke early Saturday morning
It happened on Martin Grove Road, south of Rathburn Road, at about 2 a.m. when the car veered off the road.
It car hit a snow bank and became airborne, took out a hydro pole and then travelled across two yards before ending up on the front porch of the house.
Police say the 23-year old driver has non-life threatening injuries. She has been arrested.
The woman was the lone occupant of the car when it struck the house.
Police say speed and alcohol were factors in the crash.
Martin Grove Road was closed for several hours as hydro crews replaced the pole.
