VIDEO: Horwath Meets With Wynne
We still don't know if we'll be headed to the polls after the provincial budget drops.
The premier met with NDP leader Andrea Horwath Thursday, as she tries to gain opposition support to let the minority liberals survive.
The one-on-one lasted 20 minutes and Horwath says the premier seems to clearly understand the NDP's budget demands. They include lowering car insurance rates, curbing youth unemployment and improving the homecare system.
Horwath says she wants to see a budget before she makes any decisions on whether or not to support it.
PC leader Tim Hudak says it's clear the Tories aren't the opposition party the Liberals are trying to cozy up to, underlining an NDP-Liberal get together will not solve the province's issues with unemployment or debt.
He repeated there needs to be a change in who runs Ontario.
Hudak met with the premier on Wednesday but while he says it was a relaxing meeting, nothing much came from it.
