WATCH: TTC CEO Andy Byford Says Sorry
The CEO of the TTC has said sorry, for the poor service provided during the afternoon rush hours on March 18th.
Andy Byford released a video on Tuesday saying a number of problems combined to make for a 'frustrating' trip home.
First, Byford says, there were two fire alerts, one at Keele Station and the other at Eglinton.
As a result service was suspended.
While that was going on, Byford says, a number of passender alarms were activated and in one instance near Dupont station, the doors of the train were opened, while it was stationary in the tunnel.
