Fire Forces Dozens From Home near Bathurst and St. Clair
Toronto Fire officials are now attempting to find what led to a three alarm fire near Bathurst and St. Clair Wednesday evening.
Around 9 pm, fire crews attended the scene and found a building engulfed in flames.
Most people were able to get out in time, but officials did have to free one person from the second floor.
There was also a fire crew that had to be rescued from the scene after they reported being low on oxygen. They got out of the building unscathed.
40 people were evacuated from the four story building on Tichester Rd.
The fire has been knocked down. Fire officials are now trying to determine exactly what caused the blaze in the first place.
