The premier maintains a casino in Toronto will still mean big bucks when it comes to hosting fees.

The statement comes after a day after meeting with OLG heads to make the hosting fee formula fairer for all communities vying for a casino. OLG had initially said Toronto would likely see a cut of $50-100 million.

Even though she wants the formula to even the playing field, Kathleen Wynne points out some cities will still make more money than others even if the same number crunching is applied across the board.

She says the bigger the project, the more funding a community will likely receive.  The premier points out the Toronto proposals are much larger than others.

As for if a new OLG formula would lessen a communities take or enhance it, Wynne says she's not dictating which direction the OLG should go in. Which means Toronto could get offered more or less than original projections.

The OLG has said they want to get a new formula in place as soon as possible.
