Hudak eyes Metrolinx, Pan Am bonuses
A Tory government might put Metrolinx on the chopping block.
Progressive Conservative leader Tim Hudak says if an arm's length agency of any sort only exists for what he calls propaganda purposes, it should be shut down.
He made the comments as the opposition leader underlined Ontario needs a better job creation plan.
Hudak also said he believes the province should get rid of up to $7 million in bonuses for Pan Am executives.
However, we it was pointed out the bonuses are built into contracts already signed, Hudak said the agreements shouldn't have been made in the first place.
He continued calls for an across-the-board wage freeze in the public sector.
