Man injured in Brampton 'car surfing' incident
A 19 year old man is in critical condition in hospital, after a 'car surfing' incident in Brampton.
Peel police are looking for witnesses to come forward after the man fell from a 1998 Honda Civic in the area of Father Tobin Road and Bramalea Road around 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon.
The victim was riding on the trunk of the car and fell off, while the vehicle was in motion.
He was first taken to Brampton hospital, but then transferred to a Toronto trauma centre.
The 16 year old driver of the car, a 16 year old boy, has been charged with Criminal Negligence Causing Bodily Harm and Dangerous Driving Causing Bodily Harm.
