CNE attendance down for 2013
In a year a tainted burger made dozens of people sick, the Canadian National Exhibition saw attendance decrease slightly.
The CNE says 1.36 million people attended the fair this year.
That's down from 1.39 million the year before.
Officials say despite the poor weather on the final day and the media coverage of the tainted Cronut Burger, the 2013 fair remains one of the most attended in the last 10 years.
Toronto Public Health discovered that it was the maple bacon jam that was used with the Cronut Burger that was the source of the bacteria.
