WATCH: Flu shot season begins
If you're over five years old and have a valid heath card, you can get your flu shot at over 2,000 pharmacies across the province starting today.
That's more than three times as many as last year.
Health Minister Deb Matthews rolled up her sleeve to get her shot at Yonge and Carleton in Toronto Thursday afternoon.
Matthews outlined a list of other places to get your shot including clinics, your doctor's office, the hospital and even some places of work.
The province is urging everyone to get their shot this year, but Matthews stresses the importance for kids, the elderly and those who have weakened immune systems.
Around 250,000 people received their flu shot at pharmacies last year.
