Woman Sentenced to 80 Years in Prison for Murder of two Scarborough Tourists
A Philadelphia woman will spend the next 80 years behind bars, after admitting to killing two Scarborough tourists in May of 2012.
Antoinette Pelzer will serve two consecutive 40 year terms for the first degree murder of 80-year-old Po Li Wan and her daughter 47-year-old Alice Mei See Leung.
The court heard that Pelzer attempted to rob the two women outside an Atlantic City Casino with a knife. Both ended up being stabbed and killed.
Pelzer told the court she suffered from a mental illness, but two court psychiatrists found the 46-year-old was fit to stand trial.
