Earlier this year, the co-host of Friendly Fire with Ryan Doyle, Tarek Fatah was diagnosed with B-cell Lymphoma. He had emergency surgery and had a cancerous tumour removed from his spinal cord. NEWSTALK 1010 is thrilled to report that Tarek is expected to make a full recovery.
"I am thrilled at the prospect of getting my own show on 1010 and return to a great family. Six months is a long time in hospital years, but thanks to the support of friends like the 1010 team, the ordeal is over. I'll miss sparing with Ryan, but he and I will one day wrestle inside a UFC cage and I'll show him who's boss," said Fatah.
