Jerry Agar: The Motion Picture
It's come to the attention of the producers here at 1010 that Jerry Agar's life has been turned into a major motion picture...
"Last Ounce of Courage" stars Marshall Teague as Jerry Agar Bob Revere, a small-town Mayor who leads and inspires a fight for family, faith and freedom as his community is overrun with politically-correct idealists (or "liberals").
As funny as it sounds, our attention is directed at how much the main character resembles NEWSTALK 1010 host Jerry Agar.
You be the judge: Check out the trailer below.
So? What did you think? The likeness is uncanny! It's as if the film's producers secretly adapted Jerry's personality and temperment as the basis for their hero.
Mike McGranaghan of the Aisle Seat writes of the film, "Last Ounce of Courage is a remarkable film. And I don't mean that in a good way. It opens and closes with quotes from Ronald Reagan that essentially celebrate war, and the movie's clear-cut message is that the rights of decent, God-fearing Americans are under constant attack (i.e. from liberals) and must be defended at all costs."
I haven't (nor have any other 1010 producers) seen the film, so I will withhold my review.
Have you seen it? Do you believe this film accurately depicts contemporary American sentiment? Did you read that the film received the Chuck Norris Seal of Approval?
More importantly, do you believe Bob Revere IS Jerry Agar? Leave a comment below.
