I do not agree with Matt Gurney's comments concerning Mayor Ford. There are reasons why many Toronto residents choose to call his office directly:
1. Unresponsive city councillor
2. Lazy overpaid toronto city workers who are not responsive to citizens
3. Who has time to wait to get through 311 fifteen minutes or so/

Mr. Gurney, I have read several columns of your comments concerning Mayor Ford and I do understand that you like other average journalists like to make fun of him. His job has many difficulties including many councillors who many people like me to not like your respect.

Corruption and government wastage are rampant at Toronto city hall. Some would say all levels of government suffer from corruption and therefore are mistrusted by the public.

This is one politician who I like an respect. If you feel you can do a better job Mr. Gurney, then you run for mayor. You certainly will not get my vote and frankly do not earn my respect by taking shots at this man who has literally won over the public. Rob Ford is continued target of government union, councillors and media types like you who frankly do not care what the voters think or want to read. This is why journalists like you are held in low regard.
