Rule #1 to life: Don't get stuck in a garbage can.

That rule was broken for one man in Aberdeen Scotland.

53 year old William Middleton said he accidentally dropped his hat in the garbage can while turfing some trash.

It was while he was digging for that hat, that his head became stuck, leading to a rescue in front of a number of onlookers.

They also gave him a new nickname: Bucket Heid. (Sound it out)

"It was shocking... I was stuck for about 20 minutes. It was stinking. I'm now known as Bucket Heid,", he told the local newspaper.

A couple of people tried to help before police arrived, but unfortunately Bucket Heid's ears were stuck and they couldn't pull him free.
