GO!
- In case you haven't noticed, I'm one of 1010's morning reporters nowadays, along with Amber Gero. Often times we'll take an issue to the street and ask for your input. Here's a slice of life for ya. This, as I was doing the coyote story in The Beach this morning: Me: "'scuse me sir, I'm with NewsTalk 10-..." Potential interviewee: "Sorry man, I don't have any change."
Do you feel it? I don't.
CARCABLOG VOL.2First off, I'll apologize for not having posted a blog the last couple Thursdays. A couple weeks ago I was out of town for "my weekend" (Thursdays and Fridays), and then LAST week...Well...Last week I was bedridden for a few days with what I'll go ahead and say was probably the worst flu I've ever suffered through. The doc couldn't confirm if it was the dreaded "you know what," but I think I suffered from every imaginable symptom under the sun, and didn't have the energy to get out of bed. You figure out what it could've been.
They threw eggs at WHO!?
CARCABLOG VOL. 1I wanna talk about a group of people who really deserve no attention at all, but hey...I'm gonna give it to'em. How many times do we do that in the news?
Anyway, I'm talking about that group of Quebec independence protesters who disrupted the Royal visit in Quebec on Tuesday. They were there protesting the presence of Prince Charles and Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall in their province. One protester was quoted in a Canadian Press report I read as saying that the Monarchy has exploited people worldwide, including Quebec.
