The day after walking the red carpet, the cast of Cloud Atlas held a press conference that was full of laughs.

It all started when Tom Hanks led them through a rendition of Happy Birthday for Hugh Grant, who turned 52 today. The press had also joined in on the singing.

Grant thanked everyone and said, "this is the first nice thing the press has ever done for me."

Hanks also brought a few laughs when he impersonated his costar Jim Sturgess.

And when Susan Sarandon was asked what small event in her life led her to become an A-list actress, she said, "I'm here because all my plans failed." That also had the room laughing.
