Spectators at the Winter Olympics will have to go through airport-style security. All spectators will have to walk through a metal detector and their belongings will be subject to X-ray screening.Security officials are urging spectators to arrive two hours before events get underway at city venues, and three hours before they kick off on the mountains. It's estimated that the screening process itself will take less than one minute, but getting to the front of the line may take considerably longer. The list of restricted items includes bottled water at some venues, large umbrellas and the flags of non-participating countries. And don't try to duck outside the venue for a smoke break-there's no re-entry.From the Canadian Press, I'm Alan Black.
