Olympic flame arrives in Whistler

The Olympic Flame is in Whistler, B-C.Just days before lighting the cauldron at next Friday's opening ceremonies in Vancouver, the torch stopped at the host mountain of the OlympicsIt was carried to the top of Whistler -- site of the Alpine events.Then, former Olympic downhiller Steve Podborski skied down with the torch to a to a community celebration.He won bronze at the 1980 Olympics and is a member of the Canadian Olympic Hall of Fame.The Olympic torch is heading back into the B-C Interior before it arrives in Vancouver in six days for the opening ceremonies.
