Levon Helm: Electric Dirt
About a year and a half ago, I interviewed Rock ‘n’ Roll Hall of Famer, Levon Helm. He had just recorded his first album in 25 years, called Dirt Farmer. A few months after our conversation, he became the only member of the legendary group, “The Band,” to win a Grammy as a solo performer.
This year in 2009, he went back into the studio and recorded his follow up album, Electric Dirt; being released June 30th of this year. Let’s hope lightning can strike twice.
